Sougen Takamine (高峰宗現) is the contracted monk of Kamika Todoroki and one of the Sojo of the six Kōgon Sect districts. He is also the former mentor of Keisei Tagami during the early years of training. Within the Sect, Takamine often has to negotiate other opposing members from the Shōhōs faction, who would rather get rid of the Shikabane Hime than work with them. He seems to treat Shikabane Himes nicely, shown when he states that he would rather try and avoid killing Makina when she starts to turn rogue.
